It's always sad to think of what has happened to Phillip. You have never seen him hold or point a gun at anyone, have known him since you were a teenager, worked for him, and have had drinks with him. I've worked for him, have known him for 30 years or so, and have never seen him with a gun. Hal Blaine has never seen him with a gun in 37 years. Janice, who has kinown him for years also, has never seen him with a gun. We have never seen him violent. My friends were here when we were talking and they both felt depressed hearing the conversation.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help Phillip but we can be here for him and we can support him. I know he appreciates that. Every loser on earth turned on him and God knows who these women were, why they kept dating him, and how much money they made selling their stories.
It is fascinating that the DA didn't prosecute either Leonard Cohen or Michelle Blaine. What happened instead? I was charged with an intent to annoy this evil man (who has stolen millions from me, concealed the corporate books, and records, etc.) and the DA's investigator is blatantly hanging out in court with Cohen and lunching with him - while he tells another version of his good rock and roll gun story about Phillip. It is strange that Cohen told me, for 20 years, that Phillip never held a gun on him and these were merely embellished stories. There are now three of them before LA Superior Court - and you are right: two of them are lies. You never heard, and were with Cohen at Phillip's house while they were working together, that Phillip held a gun on him. Do you know why, Paulette? Because Leonard Cohen is a liar and you are correct - he tried to save himself. Then, he took the stand against me and lied through his teeth. The prosecutor lied through hers. What were issues in my INTENT TO ANNOY Leonard Cohen trial? The Los Angeles DA and Phillip's prosecutor. My book should really be called LA Confidential but the title's already taken.
