Kelley's Letter To The Brother Of Leonard Cohen's Alleged "Informant"

I am trying to locate a number or email address for your sister, Julie.  I knew Julie, very briefly, in 2004.  She was staying with a mutual acquaintance, Betsy Superfon, and worked for my greeting card company for approximately one week in August 2004.  

The reason I am looking for Julie relates to litigation matters between me and Leonard Cohen.  I was Cohen's personal manager for approximately 17 years.  Problems arose between us when I reported allegations related to his criminal tax fraud to IRS.  I have spoken to your father about this matter. 

Your sister was allegedly the "informant" who, in October 2004, advised Cohen that he could not retire.  I have no idea where Julie would come up with this information since she had no access to corporate books and records, stock units, agreements, bank statements, financial records, etc.  Beyond that, she spent her days on the phone, in the presence of my mother, looking for work.  I can assure you that I do not discuss my personal and/or business matters with strangers or anyone for that matter.

Betsy Superfon informed me, and others, that after living with her, your sister assaulted her maid, stole her dog, and stole her jewelry.  I have no idea if this is the case and do not wish to get involved in any Superfon related drama.  

Let me know if you have a contact number or email for your sister.  I intend to file a lawsuit in federal court addressing Cohen's theft from me, etc. and would like to depose her.  I must say that I find the notion of Julie being an "informant" laughable.  Superfon assured me that Julie was the "informant" and advised me, and others, that Julie was jealous of me.  That all sounds a bit sophomoric to me and I am addressing serious business, financial, and tax matters.

2.    I am a resident of California.

3.    Since approximately 2009, I have been receiving emails from Stephen Gianelli, Susanne Walsh (Leonard Cohen’s fan), and others.  Leonard Cohen’s lawyer, Michelle Rice, was copied in on some of these emails..  Apart from Leonard Cohen, I do not know these people and have never met them.  These individuals were also posting on the internet about my mother.  Most of the emails related to matters involving Leonard Cohen, IRS, and Phil Spector. 
4.    My mother was Leonard Cohen’s personal manager for approximately 17 years.  They had a falling out in the fall of 2004 to my knowledge. My mother is also a friend of Phil Spector. 

5.    On or around May 6, 2013, Ray Lawrence began privately emailing me.  I don’t not know him and have never met him.  He made serious accusations about my mother and was angry with my Aunt Karen.  Karen is my mother’s sister.

6.    While Ray Lawrence was in Minnesota, my mother lived with his roommate, Michael Ingrassia.  My mother moved out of their house on June 4, 2013 and shortly thereafter I began receiving an onslaught of emails from him, Stephen Gianelli, and Susanne Walsh.  My mother was the target of those emails.  Ray Lawrence accused my mother of many things, including stealing Michael Ingrassia’s computer.  My mother then sent out an email from Michael Ingrassia confirming that he had given her the computer. 
  
The accusations were confusing and disturbing.  Whenever one of these individuals accused my mother of something in their mass emails, she would refute them, asked Gianelli, Walsh, Lawrence, and others, to stop emailing her, asked them to stop contacting her sons, family members, and friends, and/or advised them to cease and desist.

7.    On or around June 18, 2013, I wrote Stephen Gianelli, Susanne Walsh, and Ray Lawrence advising them to stop contacting me and my immediate family because their emails were making me ill.  See Exhibit A.

8.    On June 21, 2013, my brother, Rutger Penick, responded to these emails and addressed the fact that he felt Stephen Gianelli was picking on my mother because she is poor.  He sent a copy of that email to Ray Lawrence and Susanne Walsh.  My mother and I were copied in as well.  See Exhibit B.

9.    At some point, Ray Lawrence’s emails made demands on my mother about property and evidence she left at his house with his permission.. He began threatening to destroy them, sell them, or provide her documents to Leonard Çohen’s lawyer, Michelle Rice.  Gianelli and Walsh also sent emails advising Lawrence to send my mother’s evidence and paperwork to Michelle Rice.  This was upsetting to my mother and she emailed the recipients of the emails the agreement she and Lawrence had entered into permitting her to store her belongings at his house.

9.    The emails from Ray Lawrence were extremely slanderous and accusatory with respect to my mother and were upsetting and confusing.  For the time being, they seem to have stopped.

I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct.

Hello IRS, FBI, and DOJ,

These people, Susanne Walsh and Stephen Gianelli, have been criminally harassing me, my sons, sister, Paulette Brandt, and others, for years now.  I plan to contact LAPD's TMU who advised me to contact them if Walsh continued to copy in Leonard Cohen's lawyer.  Jeffrey Korn has repeatedly been copied in on these harassing emails.  I have the evidence related to Walsh and Gianeli's inconceivable harassment.  I have made no slanderous statement.  I find it shocking that Leonard Cohen would permit his lawyer to be copied in with these types of serious federal tax matters.  

I have advised both Gianelli and Walsh, once again, to cease and desist.  I assume Walsh feels safe engaging in this type of harassment because she evidently resides in Denmark.  I have no idea why Gianelli feels comfortable criminally harassing me, my sons, sister, etc.  I have spoken to FBI, LASD, and LAPD about this situation.  My sister's attorney advised this psychopath to cease and desist.  My sons were clear - they don't want to hear from these people.

Jeffrey,

My sister and I continue to be criminally harassed.  Gianelli and Walsh work in tandem.  Gianelli has also worked with Michelle Blaine, Phil Spector's former assistant.  My sons have been clear about how they feel.  The City Attorney actively encouraged this man to criminally harass me and pass along messages.  I have spoken to the DA's office about this situation.  

I, and many others, have been criminally harassed by Gianelli, Walsh, and others, since Gianelli spoke to Michelle Rice (according to him) in May or June 2009.  The issues all relate to Leonard Cohen, IRS matters, and Phil Spector.  My son, Ray, was very clear about this in his declaration.

There are serious outstanding issues.  They relate to, among other things, federal tax matters.  I still am not in receipt of Cohen's 2004 IRS required form 1099,  The IRS, FTB, and State of Kentucky have all advised me to contact Cohen and ask him to rescind the illegal K-1s transmitted by LC Investments, LLC indicating that I a partner on that entity.  I am not.  I have attempted to address the phantom income shifted to me by Traditional Holdings but not distributed.  I have no idea how Kevin Prins was copied on an email about that fact and, as an accountant, does not understand what that means.  

I have evidence from the Boulder Combined Court that the Boulder order is NOT a domestic violence order.  Cohen testified that I never stole from him - just his "peace of mind."  That supports the evidence.  The corporate books and records were transmitted to Greenberg, Glusker in November 2004 but Cohen lied about this in his fraudulent Complaint against me.

The fraudulent default judgment does not address the outstanding federal tax matters.

I happen to believe that this campaign of criminal harassment is highly organized.  I have for your assistance in bringing it to an end.

DECLARATION OF RAY CHARLES LINDSEY


I, Ray Charles Lindsey, declare as follows:

1.    I am over the age of eighteen.  The following facts are within my personal knowledge and, if called and sworn as a witness, I could and would testify competently thereto.

2.    I am a resident of California.

3.    Since approximately 2009, I have been receiving emails from Stephen Gianelli, Susanne Walsh (Leonard Cohen’s fan), and others.  Leonard Cohen’s lawyer, Michelle Rice, was copied in on some of these emails..  Apart from Leonard Cohen, I do not know these people and have never met them.  These individuals were also posting on the internet about my mother.  Most of the emails related to matters involving Leonard Cohen, IRS, and Phil Spector. 

4.    My mother was Leonard Cohen’s personal manager for approximately 17 years.  They had a falling out in the fall of 2004 to my knowledge. My mother is also a friend of Phil Spector.

5.    On or around May 6, 2013, Ray Lawrence began privately emailing me.  I don’t not know him and have never met him.  He made serious accusations about my mother and was angry with my Aunt Karen.  Karen is my mother’s sister.

6.    While Ray Lawrence was in Minnesota, my mother lived with his roommate, Michael Ingrassia.  My mother moved out of their house on June 4, 2013 and shortly thereafter I began receiving an onslaught of emails from him, Stephen Gianelli, and Susanne Walsh.  My mother was the target of those emails.  Ray Lawrence accused my mother of many things, including stealing Michael Ingrassia’s computer.  My mother then sent out an email from Michael Ingrassia confirming that he had given her the computer. 
  
The accusations were confusing and disturbing.  Whenever one of these individuals accused my mother of something in their mass emails, she would refute them, asked Gianelli, Walsh, Lawrence, and others, to stop emailing her, asked them to stop contacting her sons, family members, and friends, and/or advised them to cease and desist.

7.    On or around June 18, 2013, I wrote Stephen Gianelli, Susanne Walsh, and Ray Lawrence advising them to stop contacting me and my immediate family because their emails were making me ill.  See Exhibit A.

8.    On June 21, 2013, my brother, Rutger Penick, responded to these emails and addressed the fact that he felt Stephen Gianelli was picking on my mother because she is poor.  He sent a copy of that email to Ray Lawrence and Susanne Walsh.  My mother and I were copied in as well.  See Exhibit B.

9.    At some point, Ray Lawrence’s emails made demands on my mother about property and evidence she left at his house with his permission.. He began threatening to destroy them, sell them, or provide her documents to Leonard Çohen’s lawyer, Michelle Rice.  Gianelli and Walsh also sent emails advising Lawrence to send my mother’s evidence and paperwork to Michelle Rice.  This was upsetting to my mother and she emailed the recipients of the emails the agreement she and Lawrence had entered into permitting her to store her belongings at his house.

9.    The emails from Ray Lawrence were extremely slanderous and accusatory with respect to my mother and were upsetting and confusing.  For the time being, they seem to have stopped.

I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct.

Hello FBI,

Gianelli continues to criminally harass me and my sister.  Walsh is also criminally harassing me and has now copied Cohen's lawyer, Jeffrey Korn, in on her emails.  I have a legal right to address Cohen's perjured testimony and statements; ask the Court to dismiss the fraudulently registered "domestic violence" order; and have issues litigated on the merits.  That is why I am now filing a federal lawsuit.  Serious federal tax matters have arisen based on Cohen's fraudulent default judgment and ongoing fraudulent misrepresentations to the Court.  

In any event, I will continue to maintain all emails from these individuals.  I have asked Cohen's lawyer to assist me in putting an end to this insanity.  After all, his co-counsel, has been copied in on many emails sent to me, members of my family, and others.  I would assume that Leonard Cohen condones this conduct.
