Since you were so integral to the destruction of my reputation, I was wondering if you could help shed some light on another Leonard Cohen story that involves discrepancies. He has many stories of this nature. For instance, Cohen now has three versions of his good rock 'n roll gun story about Phil Spector before LA Superior Court. In fact, the version he testified about contradicts the version Spector's prosecutors used in their motions in the Spector case and, if Mick Brown/UK Telegraph is correct, before the Spector Grand Jury. Cohen has now testified that I never stole from him - just his "peace of mind" - and acknowledged, also under oath, that we were in a purely business relationship. I have filed a federal racketeerring lawsuit against Cohen and his lawyers but, as National Enquirer confirmed previously, the news media is not really interested in Cohen stories. I suppose his stories have to be highly fabricated and salacious to garner media attention although it's clear that Cohen fantasizes about men holding guns on him. That doesn't simply involve Phil Spector. In Cuba, he had numerous fantasies of this sort. In one version, Castro's forces, who assumed Cohen was CIA recon evidently, arrested him at gunpoint and interrogated him. They felt, according to Cohen, that he might be one of the first members of the landing party re. the Bay of Pigs. When they realized he wasn't, they let him go and gave him a necklace. In another Cuban story, Cohen was held at gunpoint by a guard who ultimately became distracted permitting Cohen to walk onto the tarmac and catch the last flight out of Cuba before the Bay of Pigs incident.
In any event, the interview portion of the MacLean's article confirms that Cohen had contacted you months earlier. In fact, your Up Front and Personal interview states: "That night he told me what he'd hinted at months earlier in an email - that he'd been stripped of most of his assets, and was mired in a legal battle with his money managers, who would accuse him of extortion." However, Cohen told the Court in the Greenberg case that MacLean's contacted him after Greenberg filed his lawsuit [and just prior to the publication of the MacLean's article on August 22, 2015] and said they would print the article with or without his participation.
As for the extortion, Leonard Cohen has now embezzled approximately $7 million or more from the so-called "retirement account" corporation. He fully understood that he had an obligation to repay these amounts but for some reason, Cohen seems to feel that if he comes up with a fabricated narrative, he has the right to steal from corporations or individuals such as myself, Steven Machat, and Phil Spector. I disagree.
In any event, I was wondering if you would care to comment on your statements that Cohen contacted you months before the interview/article appeared and you and your colleagues then wrote what appears to be a defense to his criminal tax fraud. Feel free to take a look at my Complaint. I've attached plenty of evidence supporting the fact that Leonard Cohen retaliated against me with a baseless, meritless lawsuit and is now attempting to extort millions of dollars from me. Also, since you lied about me and my son's custody matter (which was coordinated by Cohen and Lindsey), I thought you might like to read some of the aftermath as set forth in my sons' declarations. Ann Diamond's declaration is also quite interesting as she really does understand who Leonard Cohen is. The way you can tell that this is factual - Cohen and his operatives, who relentlessly targeted my sons, are slandering her and accusing her of being a scorned woman. That's always the dead give away with Leonard Cohen.
I'm certain that, although you have helped destroy our lives, you won't be interested in publishing anything factual. It's far more interesting having Leonard Cohen lie through his teeth about these issues, I suppose.
