Leonard Cohen's ex-manager sentenced to 18 months in jail
After stealing millions from the singer, Kelley Lynch began a campaign of harassment, contacting him many times a day who has been jailed for harassment.
I have stolen absolutely nothing from Leonard Cohen. He has lied, concealed information, perjured himself, and used unconscionable tactics since hearing that I was reporting his tax fraud (criminal due to the fact that it’s definitely fraud and not negligence) to the IRS and other agencies. Leonard Cohen owes me millions – for commissions he wrongfully withheld to my 15% share of all intellectual property. Cohen cannot simply decide to willfully and recklessly overlook corporate books and records. After hearing I was going to the IRS (due to the fact that I was used by Cohen – and certain of his advisers – unwittingly and horrendously), Cohen became hysterical, desperate, and insane. This may be due to the fact that the tax fraud and evasion appears to extend to two countries (the U.S. and Canada) and probably dates back (in the U.S.) to when Cohen first obtained his green card. At least that’s what individuals at the State of Kentucky thought when I brought the activity with respect to Traditional Holdings (an entity Cohen’s lawyer decided to create or form in Kentucky). Cohen testified that they “rectified’ something with respect to these entities. Kory told me there was fraud on every entity and I personally handled nothing having to do with taxes, corporate structures, finances, etc. That is why Cohen had a team of professional advisers who worked for him, not me. That would include his business manager, Rich Feldstein, who was a CPA. I was, as everyone knows (including the NY Times, Bob Hilburn/LA Times, and Maclean’s have noted) Cohen’s personal manager but the man cannot stop lying. He continues to align himself, obviously, with the dangerously unstable Stephen “Jihad” Gianelli who has targeted me and those close to me since approximately May/June 2009. Gianelli, as is his pattern, now has another cyber-terrorist weighing in on me and my so-called probation requirements. Leonard Cohen is the individual with a long history of psychiatric problems, drug and alcohol abuse, and perhaps that has made him paranoid and he is now exhibiting strong symptoms of borderline personality disorder which would include paranoia. Kelley Lynch was found guilty of breaching several restraining orders by barraging the singer with emails and telephone calls. She will undergo a further psychological evaluation at the end of 2013.
Actually, I wasn’t found guilty of harassment and am now appealing the entire matter – including the sentence and probation requirements. The restraining orders, procured by fraud, will be addressed in the appeal. It’s interesting how everyone draws a different conclusion when reading the transcript of the judge’s order. I have a set of orders, that were hand delivered me, and my lawyer and I reviewed (at the first hearing) his set – which is a copy of mine. These are not transcripts. These are the documents I was served by the bailiff. Perhaps Judge Vanderet should learn to speak clearly and distinctly so that everyone who reads his sentencing order doesn’t come to a different conclusion. I now have four separate legal opinions with respect to the judge’s order – and two of them are in writing.
"It gives me no pleasure to see my one-time friend shackled to a chair in a court of law, her considerable gifts bent to the service of darkness, deceit and revenge," Cohen said. "[But] I want to thank the defendant Ms Kelley Lynch for insisting on a jury trial, thus exposing to the light of day her massive depletion of my retirement savings and yearly earnings, and allowing the court to observe her profoundly unwholesome, obscene and relentless strategies to escape the consequences of her wrongdoing."
Of course it gives Cohen – a fraud and thief – pleasure to see me in handcuffs. He is the one who has attempted to blame his wrongdoing on me. He is the one who had his lawyers meet with various law enforcement agencies. He is the one who was writing Sandra Jo Streeter (a lying prosecutor who I have filed a complaint against with a supervisor at the City Attorney’s officer noting that she has concealed tremendous evidence from jurors, lied, cannot represent the IRS, questioning her communications with the DA’s office, etc.) Therefore, Cohen absolutely wanted to see me in handcuffs. Cohen likes handcuffs – see his artwork on The Future album. Cohen seems pissed off that I “insisted” on a jury trial. That will be addressed in the appeal. This trial had nothing to do with the “massive depletion” of anyone’s “retirement account” although Cohen does seem dead set on proving that he is the alter ego of these entities and has absolutely pierced the corporate veil. I allowed the court to observed my conduct? The court should read the most obscene book ever published in Canada, Cohen’s Beautiful Losers, and address this man’s extensive lies, perjury, concealment, etc. I have no strategies to escape the consequences of my conduct but the extent Cohen has gone to destroy my life, target my children, and so forth, most certainly proves that this man has outrageous and relentless strategies that involve attempting to blame his wrong-doing on me. Boies Schiller was very clear about this. They also reviewed a great deal of evidence and are well aware that Leonard Cohen owes me millions and felt that he and Kory were attempting to engage me in criminal conduct.
Cohen sacked Lynch in 2004, after she had been his manager for 17 years. She had stolen millions of dollars from his accounts, and in 2006 a court ordered her to pay him $9.5m (£5.4m). Even before that ruling, Lynch had begun contacting Cohen many times a day, threatening his family and saying he "needed to be taken down and shot". The messages were often obscene and sexually explicit, including accusations of tax fraud and drug abuse. "I do believe that I have engaged in excessive and unauthorised rambling," Lynch said on Tuesday.
Leonard Cohen did not sack me and The Guardian’s fact checking and journalism standards are incredibly shabby. There was a default judge in a matter I wasn’t served – and I was not served notice of the default judgment either. I was homeless at the time. The prosecutor showed me a copy of the default and the proof of service. That was my former house in Brentwood, California. I never filed an address change. It’s difficult to change your address to homeless in Santa Monica. I have never threatened Cohen or his family. None of my messages were obscene or sexually explicit. Cohen doesn’t mind obscene when he sits next to someone (like myself) and types in certain words into a search engine so that he can show me people defecating on themselves. He doesn’t mind his authorized biographer talking about “pussy.” He doesn’t mind singing “Give me crack and anal sex.” Leonard Cohen is a lying hypocrite, fraud, and thief. Steven Machat understands that he is a fraud and a thief – Cohen stole 15% of the intellectual property belonging to Machat & Machat. Leonard Cohen has a long history of drug abuse – prescription and illicit. It’s interesting that the messages related to tax fraud. Perhaps the IRS Commissioner’s Staff, copied in on my alleged emails, understand the lengths Leonard Cohen and his representatives have gone to conceal egregious criminal tax fraud. Was there extraneous information in my alleged emails? Well, as people are noting – there are serious issues related to freedom of speech here as well. That would include Cohen’s attempt to have the prosecutor address my online posts and my communications with journalists. He has already had his thug lawyer threaten a journalist, Ann Diamond, who posted her draft article to Rolling Stone online – that led to Cohen’s incredibly deranged flight into Boulder to obtain a fraudulent restraining order. Of course, Cohen testified that he thought I might attend his concert approximately 10 months later but I didn’t and think he should be forced to submit to a psychiatric examination that includes a review of his long history of drug abuse, alcohol problems, psychiatric ailments, etc. It is all publicly documented. Cohen doesn’t tell journalists that they have assailed his reputation when they refer to him as “Captain Mandrax” because of his qualude habit. Nor does he threaten them with legal action when they note that he was high on LSD at a concert in Israel that belongs to Steven Machat.
"No person should be subject to that kind of targeting by anyone," said Los Angeles county judge Robert C Vanderet. In addition to the jail term, Lynch was sentenced to five years' probation and is barred from owning weapons for the next decade.
Vanderet has very serious problems. That is quite obvious. Leonard Cohen destroyed my life, targeted my children and family, and has committed egregious tax fraud. Vanderet should take his own advice. I don’t believe I should have been targeted by him possibly due to the fact that he had a celebrity lying in his courtroom, bolstered by two paid lying thugs. That is definitely my opinion. Leonard Cohen should be barred from owning a gun.
"It is my prayer that Ms Lynch will take refuge in the wisdom of her religion," Cohen said. "That a spirit of understanding will convert her heart from hatred to remorse, from anger to kindness, from the deadly intoxication of revenge to the lowly practices of self-reform."
Leonard Cohen wouldn’t know a prayer if he fell over one. He might know how to study St. John of the Cross and use his work in his own songs. Leonard Cohen, as someone noted, was never a Buddhist. People don’t believe a Buddhist – or any ethical individual – would target someone in the manner in which Cohen has targeted me. Nor would they lie, steal, commit tax fraud, attempt to blame their own wrongdoing on others, etc. He says it himself – he cheats and he lies. I have no hatred for Leonard Cohen. People who know me believe I am kind. Leonard Cohen should attempt to transfer his own poisonous mind into something that vaguely resembles compassion. Leonard Cohen’s deadly history of intoxication may also explain some of his conduct – including his insufferable arrogance and conceit. Leonard Cohen’s logic is also deranged. Anger doesn’t turn into remorse in Buddhism. Anger transforms into intelligence and wisdom. Cohen should continue to study Jeffrey Dahmer and remorse. I know that this notion of “remorse” intrigues him and I know that he has none. A Buddhist asked me today if Cohen exhibited anything that resembles “empathy.” The answer is no – he is heartless, plain mean, and lies as easily as he breaths. Leonard Cohen seems incredibly obsessed with me and to quote Phil Spector, he must think he’s talking to someone “who gives a shit.” Cohen, after asking to be ordained as a Buddhist monk, has now abandoned that tradition for Judaism. Of course, hearing the prosecutor talk about Cohen’s Jewish religious beliefs was news to me. I never once saw or heard that he attended Temple in the 20 or so years I thought I knew him. If Leonard Cohen is reborn a peacock perhaps he can learn how to transform deadly toxins into amrita. That will happen when hell freezes over. I know Cohen hates to hear that His Holiness Kusum Lingpa told a number of us that he’s an “asshole who is going to hell” but that was his personal opinion and he saw right through this fraud.
