Please see below.  Another author/journalist has requested a quote from me for a book on the dark side of Hollywood.  I know this individual and we have mutual friends in journalism and literary communities.  I asked him to include, together with my response/quote for his book, two links:  one, a letter I wrote you and posted on my blog to dispel any confusion brought about by LC’s position that I am a practitioner of “dark arts," and the other a response to a journalist who asked me what I thought LC's views on the time I devoted to Tibetan Buddhism were.  Leonard Cohen's public statements that I am a practitioner of "dark arts" is a highly suspect position for an ordained Buddhist monk to take.  But, as was true for Goebbels, LC was a master of propaganda, preparing his cover story for global consumption, and understood that successful "marketing" techniques involve one sided arguments, criticism of one's opponent,the need for a special "enemy" for villification  purposes (LC literally testified that I was the "enemy), and the fact that it's best to constantly repeat just a few stereotyped phrases.  I know precisely how LC performed for the news media as I was not only his personal manager but also functioned as his PR agent.

I want to be extremely accurate in addressing these issues as Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche seriously admonished certain individuals about writing books for financial gain which I most certainly have no intention of doing.  I last visited Rinpoche in California.  Rinpoche warned against people like Stephen Bachelor whom he felt disparage the buddhadharma, Tibetan Buddhist teachers, such as Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and so forth.  I have no intentions of ever writing any such book, and/or a self-serving “newsworthy” scandalous or salacious tale, such as one of Leonard Cohen’s bullshit “good rock ‘n roll stories” [ncluding the narrative he and others developed about me or Phil Spector for that matter], concocted for the media and others, as that is not my experience of Tibetan Buddhism, or even how I would present Cohen himself, in any event.  

I do intend to write a book about my experiences at some point in the future.  I intend to call it “From Pussy to MK Ultra” using a reference to an entirely libelous chapter of a Leonard Cohen biography written by a woman who essentially functioned as an awe inspired groupie.  The chapter, entitled "Taxes Children, Lost Pussy," is a highly defamatory (and blatantly false) narrative about me and what unfolded with Leonard Cohen.  This biographer also advanced the self-serving statements of Leonard Cohen's (and his insane lawyers) in this chapter of her nauseating “love letter” to Leonard Cohen.  My book will detail the fact that LC's fraud "damages" against me were nothing other than yet another of his questionable "tax deductions" that I have challenged with IRS and other tax authorities.  It will also address the legal warfare tactics LC employed, the unconscionable lies blasted into the public realm (and now "litigation protected" and sold by courts throughout this country), his entirely fabricated narrative, the manufactured "course of conduct," and all the players involved.  The book will present the totality of circumstances.

TNR also warned that LC was an incredibly aggressive individual and literally expressed concern for my welfare following LAPD's insane SWAT incident with a woman (me) alone in her home in Brentwood wearing nothing but a bikini, with her African Grey parrot and two Akitas alongside her, who was literally held hostage by 25-30 men (LAPD foot soldiers) with what appeared to be automatic weapons pointed at her home and potentially endangering her son others.  LAPD would ultimately tell my son that my "dog" was my so-called "hostage" which is predictable.  And so, TNR was correct in what he warned about and transmitted to me.

P.S.  Here is a video of a celebrity sighting at LA Superior Court where prosecutors (and even public defenders, defense counsel, etc.) and others routinely go to lie about innocent people, manufacture cases, and essentially rob the taxpayer blind.  The Court condones the use of fraud, perjury, and other misconduct in achieving victorious (yet fraudulent) default judgments, dime a dozen restraining orders (used for tactical litigation purposes and to discredit people), and, of course, wrongful convictions.  the Court has no remedies whatsoever and the judges themselves will argue vigorously against the truth.  A system worthy of Nazi, Germany.  In addition, one that looks like a truly rotten lawyer’s joke.  Unfortunately, it is not.  It is simply an enterprise engaged in eternally rotten logic, deception, questionable operations, financial fraud (including unlawful debt collection practices) and an entity that should be viewed as a hostile and malign actor.  The arrogant and hostile court system is wedded to its novel "finality of judgments," an alien concept in Buddhism, and has kept innocent  people in hostage conditions in prisons throughout the US. for 20, 30, or 40 years attempting to find a "remedy."  As a Khenpo concluded about this Court system,:  using its own rotten logic one could literally prove that the Buddha was a liar - or anyone for that matter.  And yet, the judicial scholars (unhinged and screaming from the bench at times) believe they are immune from any consequences related to their actions.  That's a truly perverted and twisted view of reality.

By the way, I know you are interested in psychological warfare tactics, MK Ultra, and so forth.  I can confirm that LC personally advised me (my mother and others) that he was a participant in CIA's MK Ultra Program.  He also informed me (and others) that he was a member of a CIA reconnaissance team during the Bay of Pigs, etc.  "Our most important spy" who clearly, as journalist Ann Diamond noticed, sent messages to his fans related to "alpha, omega, delta" and "Operation Mockingbird."  Leonard Cohen frequently discussed "Operation Monarch" which he explained was a psychological mind control program.  This is the language of psychological warfare operations which LC spoke of often and was devoted to.  He absolutely enjoyed putting people in "double binds" and bantered on about human "breaking points."  It does make one recall that Leonard Cohen's favorite book was "Morning of the Magicians," of his interest in "Mind Kontrolle," and his view that these were behavior modification tools whose objectives, to paraphrase LC, were to condition people, induce trauma, extract information, exert control over through special interrogation techniques, explore memory enhancement techniques, and establish defensive means for controlling potentially hostile enemies.  At times, I wondered if LC was simply mad or perhaps under the influence of some substance.  LC explained to me that this is one of the reasons he chose to tour "mental hospitals."  At the very least, LC's interest in these types of matters could be classified as "realisme fantastique."  A favorite LC warfare tactic, which he explained was embraced by Queen Victoria, was to "divide and conquer."  At the end of the day, what I can unequivocally state is that Leonard Cohen was an exceedingly complex man at times obsessed with farfetched and bizarre concepts or ideas.  I must also assume that LC was aware of the intent and goal CIA's Project Chatter, a program explored in response to the Soviet development of truth serum:  using a cover story when exposed.  As you know, LC publicly discussed his interest in hypnosis to place people into trances.  That's how I view his PR blitz against me.

This manual of LAPD's celebrity unit (TMU) shows how they employ similar tactics and use psychologists and other means to intimidate, coerce, manipulate, discredit, and torment individuals.  The manual inidicates that they also use psychologists to infiltrate an individual's legal and or mental health matters.  These are Gestappo tactics.  Leonard Cohen and his "team," which clearly includes government actors and cyber-terrorist/stalker, Bay Area lawyer "Stephen Gianelli," have used malicious and unconscionable tactics against me and it is very clear (after reviewing this manual and the tactics used) that this is how "celebrity" cases are fabricated and manufactured.  The use of fraudulent restraining orders is of the utmost importance and viewed as a "tool" of the trade.  It evidently provides, pursuant to this manual, a "bang for the buck."  To quote Jeff Dunn of this unit:  

"Detectives should view restraining orders as tools rather than deterrents. We are seeking to place legal parameters around behavior that would otherwise not be criminal. We expect the suspect to violate the order, with the knowledge that we can now justify an arrest where none was possible before."

Why would LAPD seek to place "legal parameters around behavior that is not otherwise criminal" - such as compiance with federal tax laws?  I do understand that there is real crime in the world and real victims but this Manual sets forth something far more devious and the above admission is astonishing.  In fact, it describes entrapment techniques.  I am about to file a federal lawsuit against LAPD, City Attorney of Los Angeles, andothers.  I'll send you a copy when it's finalized and filed.

I understand that you're a journalist/author who has to make a living but would it be possible to stop slandering me (including in the Preface of this book)?  

The legal issues before the LA Superior Court system are not limited to Leonard Cohen's Goebbel-esque propaganda:  a response to my reporting allegations that he committed civil and criminal tax fraud to Internal Revenue Service and other authories.  I have filed many responses on all fronts.  Leonard Cohen did not "find" that his retirement funds dwindled in 2004 or at any time thereafter.  Furthermore, with respect to Traditional Holdings, LLC (the entity with the alleged "private annuity obligation") Leonard Cohen personally misappropriated approximately $8 millon in "disguised income" - not "loans" - from that entity and millions more from other entities.  This is his cover story and your preface refers to Leonard Cohen's "Cover Story" - or many cover stories, good rock 'n roll stories, blatant falsehoods, etc.

At no time was I Leonard Cohen's "lover" and if you actually researched this issue, rather than repeating defamatory gossip, you would understand that.  Based upon a fraudulent LAPD TMU report, assigning me a "sexual relationship" with Leonard Cohen, whatever that is given the fact that I was a professional business woman and personal manager, and a fraudulently issued Los Angeles Superior Court "domestic violence order" (in 2011 although LC and I had not seen one another since 2004), the government of Los Angeles assigned me a California statutory "dating" and/or "engagement" relationship when, in fact, the government of LA and the Court system itself, appear to have the "expectation of affection" when it comes to Leonard Cohen - not I.

There were no real "legal proceedings."  LC, with an army of lawyers, obtained one fraud default judgment (used as a personal tax deduction based upon the complaint narrative; six months prior to entry of the fraud default), and three or so fraudulent, dime a dozen restraining orders.  One of the key themes running through Leonard Cohen's "Cover Up" is "service."  His lawyers, Robert Kory & Michelle Rice (with other professionals), have spent the past 14 years concocting one lie after another.  They bill for these servicess and benefit financially.  The are now paid lawyers and general counsel, trustee, business and personal managers, corporate counsel, estate representatives, trustee's lawyer, so-called witnesses and/or victims, and co-conspirators.  That's a lot of hats to wear but they understand a good thing when they see it.  Here's an email from the entirely crass, vulgar, and aggressive Michelle Rice (who should stick to fiction with her fanciful touches of "violence" and romantic interludes with law enforcement) to a criminal stalker harassing me (my family, friends, and others) confirming that she makes money off of his conduct.  I stated quite clearly that if any adult stranger, such as "Stephen Gianelli," a Bay Area lawyer Rice is writing to, targets my then minor son (as he had), I will view that individual (including per FBI guidelines for parents) as a potential sexual predator or even a gunman outside with some type of motive.  I don't know "Stephen Gianelli" whose criminal conduct has now spanned over a decade and involves cyber-stalking, terrorism, and other criminal conduct with respect to me, my family members, friends, colleagues, and many others.  His conduct with respect to me, my family, friends, and others is frightening.

Evidently you didn't review the Natural Wealth suit against LC that closely with respect to LC/Robert Kory's pre-meditated plan to use fraudulent restraining orders against me.  The case was also used as a  Press Release meant to obfuscate issues and defame me.  It is now being sold on Pacer.  I take great offense at the court system financially benefitting from the suffering of my family.

When these tactics to draw Lynch into his extortion scheme proved futile, Cohen and Kory – according to Lynch – turned to far more aggressive means to obtain her cooperation.  Indeed, as heard by other witnesses, Cohen and Kory vowed to "crush her," and planned to use restraining orders and other means to prevent her from serving as a credible witness regarding both Cohen's affairs and in regard to the scheme into which they had tried without success to draw her.  See Natural Wealth Complaint (no doubt coordinated with LC's fraud "default judgment" case)

I am now going through Sylvie Simmons book with the IRS Commissioner's Staff, FBI, DOJ, U.S. Treasury, and others.  This fraudulent narrative, directly related to a cover up re. tax fraud, was deliberately propelled into the public domain and exploded on the worldwide web. LC and his representatives hired Public Relations firms to advance their deviant public narrative.   

Your preface simply quotes biographers who have included defamatory statements about me in their books.  Well, perhaps someone has wrongly concluded that I won't be represented in a court of law re. these issues and the propaganda blitz.

I never harassed Leonard Cohen.  The issues raised during the 2012 Show Trial had to do with the IRS, tax fraud, and Phil Spector - or one of Cohen's bullshit contradictory "good rock 'n roll gun stories."  I am about to sue LAPD, City Attorney of Los Angeles, et al. for, among other things, obstructing justice re. federal tax laws, criminalizing compliance with same, criminalizing pure speech, and using unconscionable tactics to destroy me, intimidate others (including my sons and elderly parents), and for using the sham, manufactured course of conduct and criminal proceedings to further propel this insane narrative into the public realm - with some embellishments that include a defamatory and outrageous attack on the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhists and many great teachers of those lineages.  

LC was an ordained Buddhist monk from 1996 until he fell in the night and passed away in November 2016. He has now stolen from me, corporations, Machat & Machat, Phil Spector, and possibly others - while defrauding the US Government, etc.  My "conviction" is going to be attacked and I will absolutely find legal remedies.  LA Superior Court and the appellate panel permit endless lying, perjury, fraud, and misconduct to become part of the so-called trial record - and permit those issues to be used to convict, defraud, and defame innocent people such as myself.  They also expand upon and sanitize the narrative which is then posted online as a Press Release and sold to journalists, the general public, lawyers, and others.

I see your preface then moves into LC's bullshit stories about Phil Spector.  LC now has three contradictory versions of the famous good rock 'n roll "gun" incident featuring Phil Spector before LA Superior Court where he also testified that we were in a "purely business relationship" and I never "stole" from him - "just his peace of mind." 

Do you see any problems with your narrative, Jeff, or your lack of journalistic integrity?  Why did LC narrate the "Tibetan Book of the Dead" while permitting my alleged prosecutor (who lied through her teeth about everything including federal tax matters, etc.) to rabidly attack Tibetan Buddhism, great teachers/lamas via hearsay?  Give it some thought.

The Court system also seems to have concluded that this is lawful, constitutional, and appropriate conduct.  It most certainly is not representative of a "justice" system and more closely resembles a criminal enterprise per the federal racketeering act - RICO.  It is also throughly unethical activity for individuals who sit in judgment of others and dole out "punishments" while exhibiting no remorse whatsoever when innocent people are trapped in their system.

Feel free to read my RICO suit.  The operative facts remain the same regardless of the fact that a judge found it legally "frivolous."  I disagree with that position and have sought counsel to assist me in approaching the "merits" of a future RICO case without a preposterous discriminatory "fee waiver" review.  I have asked a former federal judge to assist me in refiling this suit and adding the government of Los Angeles (City Attorney, District Attorney, LAPD) as defendants.

P.S.  At no time was Leonard Cohen in a religious retreat at Mt. Baldy.   That was an opportunity to dry out (from all the booze), finalize and submit his contractually obligated studio album, work on many projects (book. lithographs), and formulate a new PR angle since "Phil Spector" and "Rebecca De Mornay" became thoroughly boring issues for LC during his later "interviews," etc.
