below. Another author/journalist has
requested a quote from me for a book on the dark side of
Hollywood. I know this individual and we have mutual friends in journalism and literary communities. I asked him to include, together with my response/quote for his book, two
links: one, a letter I wrote you and posted on my blog to dispel any
confusion brought about by LC’s position that I am a practitioner of “dark
arts," and the other a response to a journalist who asked me what I thought LC's views on the time I devoted to Tibetan Buddhism were. Leonard Cohen's public statements that I am a practitioner of "dark arts" is a highly suspect position for an
ordained Buddhist monk to take. But, as was true for Goebbels, LC was a master of propaganda, preparing his cover story for global consumption, and understood that successful "marketing" techniques involve one sided arguments, criticism of one's opponent,the need for a special "enemy" for villification purposes (LC literally testified that I was the "enemy), and the fact that it's best to constantly repeat just a few stereotyped phrases. I know precisely how LC performed for the news media as I was not only his personal manager but also functioned as his PR agent.
I want to be
extremely accurate in addressing these issues as Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche
seriously admonished certain individuals about writing books for financial gain which I most certainly have no intention of doing. I last visited Rinpoche in California. Rinpoche warned against people
like Stephen Bachelor whom he felt disparage the buddhadharma, Tibetan Buddhist
teachers, such as Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and so
forth. I have no intentions of ever writing any such book, and/or a self-serving “newsworthy” scandalous or salacious tale, such as one of
Leonard Cohen’s bullshit “good rock ‘n roll stories” [ncluding the narrative he and others developed about me or Phil Spector for that matter], concocted for the media
and others, as that is not my experience of Tibetan Buddhism, or even how I would present Cohen himself, in any event.
I do intend to write a book about my experiences at some point in the future. I intend to call it “From Pussy to MK Ultra” using a reference to an entirely libelous chapter of a Leonard Cohen biography written by a woman who essentially functioned as an awe inspired groupie. The chapter, entitled "Taxes Children, Lost Pussy," is a highly defamatory (and blatantly false) narrative about me and what unfolded with Leonard Cohen. This biographer also advanced the self-serving statements of Leonard Cohen's (and his insane lawyers) in this chapter of her nauseating “love letter” to Leonard Cohen. My book will detail the fact that LC's fraud "damages" against me were nothing other than yet another of his questionable "tax deductions" that I have challenged with IRS and other tax authorities. It will also address the legal warfare tactics LC employed, the unconscionable lies blasted into the public realm (and now "litigation protected" and sold by courts throughout this country), his entirely fabricated narrative, the manufactured "course of conduct," and all the players involved. The book will present the totality of circumstances.

TNR also warned that LC was an incredibly aggressive individual and literally expressed concern for my
welfare following LAPD's insane SWAT incident with a woman (me) alone in her
home in Brentwood wearing nothing but a bikini, with her African Grey parrot
and two Akitas alongside her, who was literally held hostage by 25-30 men (LAPD foot soldiers) with what appeared
to be automatic weapons pointed at her home and potentially endangering her son others. LAPD would ultimately tell my son that my "dog" was my so-called "hostage" which is predictable. And so, TNR was correct in what he warned about
and transmitted to me.

Superior Court where prosecutors (and even public defenders, defense counsel, etc.) and others routinely go to lie about innocent people,
manufacture cases, and essentially rob the taxpayer blind. The Court condones the use of fraud, perjury,
and other misconduct in achieving victorious (yet fraudulent) default
judgments, dime a dozen restraining orders (used for tactical litigation
purposes and to discredit people), and, of course, wrongful convictions. the Court has no remedies whatsoever and the judges themselves will argue vigorously against the truth. A system worthy of Nazi, Germany. In addition, one that looks like a truly
rotten lawyer’s joke. Unfortunately, it
is not. It is simply an enterprise
engaged in eternally rotten logic, deception, questionable operations, financial fraud (including unlawful debt collection practices) and an
entity that should be viewed as a hostile and malign actor. The arrogant and hostile court system is wedded to its novel "finality of judgments," an alien concept in Buddhism, and has kept innocent people in hostage conditions in prisons throughout the US. for 20, 30, or 40 years attempting to find a "remedy." As a Khenpo concluded about this Court system,: using its own rotten logic one could literally prove that the Buddha was a liar - or anyone for that matter. And yet, the judicial scholars (unhinged and screaming from the bench at times) believe they are immune from any consequences related to their actions. That's a truly perverted and twisted view of reality.

Yes, there is an unfair advantage when a celebrity, with liability on the
horizon, hires an army of lawyers, is assisted by LAPD's TMU (a celebrity unit) and others in manufacturing a false narrative, and highly unethical and nearly Satanic
prosecutors take their so-called case before LA Superior Court for what can only be deemed a Stalinesque Show Trial or Carnival. The Court
literally resembles a fascist enterprise engaged in all sorts of questionable racketeering schemes. It serves no truth seeking function whatsoever, suppresses the truth

I would summarize Leonard Cohen's
Goebbels’ inspired propaganda blitz against me, to borrow French Commander
General Pierre Bosque's remark following the tactically disastrous "Charge
of the Light Brigade," as follows; C'est manifique, mais ce n'est
pas la guerre, c'est de la folie." In other words, it is magnificent,
but it is not true legal warfare. It is madness. It is also the
epitome of dirty lawyering. Leonard Cohen spent millions upon millions of
dollars developing his false narrative which was then propelled into the public realm through lawsuits, articles, interviews, press releases, biographies, and other PR techniques. I have asked a former
federal judge to assist me in responding to Leonard Cohen's so-called legal
campaign and correct the fraudulent record.
Leonard Cohen, an ordained Buddhist monk, also mounted, with the
assistance of the local government of Los Angeles (and others), a rabid attack
on my family, Tibetan Buddhism, and my Tibetan Buddhist teachers, including the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, 14th Sharmapa, His Holiness Kusum Lingpa, His Holiness Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, and others. This is
not the conduct of a "religious sage" as LC is currently viewed on
the world stage. Leonard Cohen informed many individuals that he was Joshu Sasaki Roshi's dharma heir. I am not certain if that was for effect but his conduct with respect to me was unwholesome and thoroughly twisted. However, as LC himself has stated: his public
persona was a "cover" operation.

I would like you to simply include that one paragraph in your book, if possible. Do

unfolded) from the River Deep Book blog? One is a letter to my Buddhist teacher
and the other a response to a question someone asked about LC's views
on the time I spent devoted to Tibetan Buddhism whle working as his personal manager for over 17 years.
By the way, I know
you are interested in psychological warfare tactics, MK Ultra, and so
forth. I can confirm that LC personally advised me (my mother and others)
that he was a participant in CIA's MK Ultra Program. He also informed me
(and others) that he was a member of a CIA reconnaissance team during the Bay of
Pigs, etc. "Our most important spy" who clearly, as journalist Ann
Diamond noticed, sent messages to his fans related to "alpha, omega,
delta" and "Operation Mockingbird." Leonard Cohen frequently discussed "Operation Monarch" which he explained was a psychological mind control program. This is the language of psychological warfare operations which LC spoke of often and was devoted to. He absolutely enjoyed putting people in "double binds" and bantered on about human "breaking points." It does make one recall that Leonard Cohen's favorite book was "Morning of the Magicians," of his interest in "Mind Kontrolle," and his view that these were behavior modification tools whose objectives, to paraphrase LC, were to condition people, induce trauma, extract information, exert control over through special interrogation techniques, explore memory enhancement techniques, and establish defensive means for controlling potentially hostile enemies. At times, I wondered if LC was simply mad or perhaps under the influence of some substance. LC explained to me that this is one of the reasons he chose to tour "mental hospitals." At the very least, LC's interest in these types of matters could be classified as "realisme fantastique." A favorite LC warfare tactic, which he explained was embraced by Queen Victoria, was to "divide and conquer." At the end of the day, what I can unequivocally state is that Leonard Cohen was an exceedingly complex man at times obsessed with farfetched and bizarre concepts or ideas. I must also assume that LC was aware of the intent and goal CIA's Project Chatter, a program explored in response to the Soviet development of truth serum: using a cover story when exposed. As you know, LC publicly discussed his interest in hypnosis to place people into trances. That's how I view his PR blitz against me.
This manual of LAPD's celebrity unit (TMU) shows how they
employ similar tactics and use psychologists and other means to intimidate, coerce, manipulate, discredit,
and torment individuals. The manual inidicates that they also use psychologists to infiltrate an individual's legal and or mental health matters. These are Gestappo tactics. Leonard Cohen and his "team," which
clearly includes government actors and cyber-terrorist/stalker, Bay Area lawyer
"Stephen Gianelli," have used malicious and unconscionable tactics
against me and it is very clear (after reviewing this manual and the tactics
used) that this is how "celebrity" cases are fabricated and manufactured. The use of fraudulent
restraining orders is of the utmost importance and viewed as a "tool" of the trade. It evidently provides, pursuant to this manual, a "bang for the buck." To quote Jeff Dunn of
this unit:
"Detectives
should view restraining orders as tools rather than deterrents. We are seeking
to place legal parameters around behavior that would otherwise not be criminal.
We expect the suspect to violate the order, with the knowledge that we can now
justify an arrest where none was possible before."
Why would LAPD seek to place "legal parameters around behavior that is not otherwise criminal" - such as compiance with federal tax laws? I do understand that
there is real crime in the world and real victims but this Manual sets forth something
far more devious and the above admission is astonishing. In fact, it
describes entrapment techniques. I am about to file a federal lawsuit
against LAPD, City Attorney of Los Angeles, andothers. I'll
send you a copy when it's finalized and filed.

P.S. Similar propaganda techniques and false narratives have been used against the 17th Karmapa, 14th Sharmapa, Kagyu lineage, and many great Tibetan lamas and teachers. Leonard Cohen also attacked these individuals and institutions in his propaganda blitz against me. His "operative" and team member created defamatory fake moniker email accounts and sent me horrifying emails from them. Exceedingly disturbing conduct for the ordained Buddhist monk, Leonard Cohen, who benefitted tremendously, in the news media and elsewhere, from his highly publicized alleged Buddhist retreat. In fact, it served as a Public Relations back-drop and marketing tool for LC's forthcoming live albums, studio album, Book of Longing, lithographs, and other projects. For some reason, groupie journalists and biographers actually believe Leonard Cohen's "cover" story that he personally addressed and which Jeff Burger included in the Preface to in his compilation book of articles/interviews on LC where I, of course, was generally trashed.
