Hi Kelley,
Thank you for that, and I'm glad you're finding my interviews helpful.
I've told you everything I know about the Leonard Cohen gun story and how it appeared in Grand Jury testimony. I have no knowledge, thoughts or theories beyond that.
Hope all's well with you.
Best,
Mick

Hi Mick,I'm reading everything you've written about Phillip. I'm working on his section of my book. It is very helpful and your interviews are great. I'm having trouble reconciling this account of the Leonard Cohen gun story. Leonard Cohen, as you know, testified that Phil Spector held a gun to his head. The prosecutor in my trial continues to conceal the email Cohen sent her at the beginning of the trial where the gun is held to Cohen's neck. And yet, the prosecutors in Phil Spector's trial used a version (you've seen the statements used in prosecutorial motions and presented to the Grand Jury but the Grand Jury Legal adviser needed to know what witness presented these statements) where Phillip allegedly held a gun to Cohen's chest. Your version involves a gun in one hand, shoved into Cohen's neck, and a bottle of wine. Phil Spector's prosecutors didn't use the bottle of wine version. I wonder which version Alan Jackson and Truc Do believe. I know that Cooley was annoyed (according to his investigator who LIED to the court when he wrote that I began contacting the DA's office in 2007 because Brian Bennett rolled by my house in 2005 afer they received an anonymous tip about Phil Spector and my friendship and I filed a complaint with Major Fraud re. Cohen's theft from me, etc. in 2006) by my emails but what version does he believe? It does give one a moment of pause, no? And,Cooley, Jackson and Do received the letter I wrote Alan Jackson that someone had removed from Scribd which is quite disturbing. I've never heard back re. those very serious issues.I wonder why Cohen decided to lie on the stand and testify that I said he testified in a Grand Jury when I've been clear that you alerted me to that and we have are now clear that Cohen's statements were presented to the Grand Jury so there was simply confusion about the word "testimony." But why would Cohen lie? Do you have any thoughts on that, Mick? All the best,KelleyRecording Leonard Cohen, he approached the singer clutching a bottle of Jewish ritual wine in one hand and a pistol in the other, which he shoved into Cohen's neck, whispering 'Leonard, I love you.'Cohen with admirable aplomb, simply moved the barrel away, saying 'I hope you do, Phil'.
