I know that you toured last time partially because of your financial situation. The tour must have taken care of that, so what would drive you to tour again?
I was able to restore my tiny fortune within a year or so, but I kept on touring. It wasn't exclusively that unique situation. Touring is like taking the first step on a walk to China. It's a serious commitment, so there are a lot of factors to be examined.

Leonard Cohen didn't have to restore his "tiny fortune." This was a cover story for his massive tax hit and probable criminal tax fraud. What Leonard Cohen had to do was repay his millions of dollars in loans to Traditional Holdings, the entity that was allegedly formed to create annuity payments for his retirement. Instead, Leonard Cohen treated this retirement account like his personal piggy bank. When he heard I was going to the IRS, he concocted a story about being broke. No one that just received $1 million advance on an album is broke. The man pursued the multi-million dollar lithograph deal I was negotiating. Leonard Cohen simply cannot stop lying. He has concealed all corporate books and records, stock certificates, notarized documents, my indemnity agreement, etc. from LA Superior Court and perjured himself when he obtained the default judgment against me in a matter I wasn't served. Leonard Cohen planned to tour and his lawyer advised mine that he also planned to go on Oprah and advise his audience that Neal Greenberg and Richard Westin defrauded him. I guess they all worked out a deal, knowing I reported Cohen's tax fraud to the IRS. This man used me horrendously and simply cannot stop lying. It is utterly pathetic. Watching him on the witness stand was almost too much for my lawyer and me to believe. My lawyer saw right through him which clearly pissed Cohen off. He is one of the most cold-hearted, calous men I have ever met in my life. If his fans don't like that then they should feel free to remain delusional. Adoring journlists seem to love Leonard Cohen's carefully crafted victim story.
