Leonard Cohen - Ann Diamond/Freda Guttman Child Molestation Allegation

LA Times Motion:  Prosecutor ... But, nevertheless, some of things Ms. Lynch has said have been incredibly troubling to Mr. Cohen.  In particular, for example, the accusation that he’s a child molester, things of that nature. (RT 2)  Just to reiterate, the People view virtually all of the comments made by Ms. Lynch as nothing more than unsubstantiated allegations, but, nevertheless, some of the things that Ms. Lynch has said have been incredibly troubling to Mr. Cohen in particular.  For example, the accusation that he’s a child molester, things of that nature. (RT 3)  And so the -- and then, you know, just the fact of -- while the charge is only -- the People don’t want to say “only” -- is a court order violation, annoying phone calls, this is something that the People are going to make an offer of proof to the court as to, that has been going on since 2005, and Mr. Cohen is very, very unsettled by this, it has just complete up-ended his life.  (RT 4)  And I don’t want to sound like I’m whining, your honor -- Court:   You are, but that’s okay.  (RT 6)  Your honor, is it okay if I let my witness know that the L.A. Times is going to take one still photo?  Court:  Of course.  Prosecutor Streeter:  I’ll be right back.  (RT 9)
